Chris Calvery, Owner
Born and raised in Midlothian, Texas, Chris Calvery has spent over 40 years mastering the art of outdoor living. With a foundation in landscaping and irrigation, his expertise naturally evolved into designing and building custom pools, bringing complete backyard visions to life.
Chris is a member of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance and regularly attends industry-leading events such as the Southwest Pool & Spa Show and the International Pool, Spa & Patio Expo. He is also an active member of the Midlothian Chamber, staying connected to the community he proudly serves.
He has been married to his wife, Darla, for over 30 years, and together they have raised five children. In addition to Calvery Pools, Chris also owns Superior Turf and Irrigation Masters, further expanding his ability to create cohesive and functional outdoor spaces.
What Chris loves most is transforming a blank slate into a customized backyard retreat, where beauty, function, and craftsmanship come together. Known for his personable nature, straightforward approach, and commitment to honest, high-quality work, Chris takes pride in delivering outdoor spaces that families can enjoy for years to come.
Kendall Calvery, Designer
Kendall Calvery is a pool designer and builder from Midlothian, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Design from the School of Architecture, along with minors in Urban Planning and Construction Management.
Kendall grew up working outdoors, helping install and repair irrigation systems and landscaping, which sparked his interest in designing and building outdoor spaces. While attending Texas A&M, he worked for nearly three years at Garver Engineering, gaining experience in professional design and project planning. After graduating, he spent time in the Rocky Mountains working with Doppelmayr constructing ski lifts before returning to Texas.
Today, Kendall designs and builds custom pools and backyard living spaces full time, personally handling the design of each project and combining architectural training with hands-on construction experience.
